ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – It’s time to get in the giving spirit and help kids across the Big Country have the Christmas of their dreams by donating to the KTAB’s Santa’s Helpers toy drive.
From heartwarming to heartbreaking – there is no shortage of extra special requests this year from children of all ages at organizations like New Horizons, who provided the letters to Santa below:
Some notable letters to bring a smile to your face include ones from Zach, who wants a “a big fat book of European history” and Aiden, who would like a “12-year-old business suit” and “20 packs of chocolate chips ahoy cookies”.
Tugging at the heartstrings, both MJ and Kylan just want to be with their mom for the holidays, and Laura and Journey want Santa to check on their siblings, to make sure they are behaving and staying safe.
To help these kids and more, bring new, unwrapped toys to the KTAB Studios at 4510 S 14th Street or at any of our co-sponsor locations: Abilene Indoor Gun Range, Junk Warehouse, Low Law Firm, and Lawrence Hall Abilene from now through next Friday.
KTAB will also be hosting a Santa’s Helpers toy drive in-person at Walmart on Southwest Drive from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. December 13.
