SWEETWATER, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – The Sweetwater Police Department has officially welcomed K9 Kaos to their team.

Kaos is a 1-year-old Belgian Malinois who was rescued from the Louisville Animal Shelter by the Fur Missile Foundation. He was chosen for his high energy and strong drive and underwent specialized training. He was then given to the Sweetwater Police Department at no cost.
Handler Officer Jeremy Wolford and K9 Kaos completed training at Alpha Pack K9 in Ohio. They are certified in narcotics detection, tracking, article searches, and criminal apprehension.
