ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – A suspect accused of stabbing a victim in a north Abilene street and then fleeing the scene has been identified.
Abilene police say Maison Boyd, 20, was arrested after fleeing the scene of the incident on foot Tuesday afternoon. He will be facing Aggravated Assault charges.
Witnesses told KTAB and KRBC that a young man on a motorcycle was riding down Glenhaven Drive near the intersection of N 14th Street around 2:30 p.m. when he stopped next to another young man, later identified as Boyd, who was standing in the street.
Witnesses then watched the young man on the motorcycle collapse. Boyd fled on foot.

They say they helped the victim, who was awake and alert until paramedics arrived on the scene.
Police say the victim suffered multiple stab wounds but is in stable condition.
Boyd was booked into the Taylor County Jail for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
